Hey everyone!

Thanks for your patience. I got caught away from the computer with travel, and was unable to post this update. 

The books are being printed in China, and we received an advanced proof of the offset print run! Pictures below.

We're working on a date for fulfillment, but with Chinese New Year looming, any date we give is very at risk of being scuttled and disrupted if the factory runs into Chinese New Year (we're hoping they won't, but at this juncture, it's out of our control.)

We'll post an update when the books are printed and on the boat to our fulfillment warehouses (UK and US), so we'll provide a new update (with a much more solid delivery deadline) at that point!

For now, enjoy these beautiful pictures of the interior of the offset print-run of Aquelarre.

Production Update!

Hello!

Right now, we're awaiting the proofs of the Brevarium so we can verify they meet standards and there are no issues. 

We've selected our printer, so once the Brevarium proof arrives, we'll give them the all clear for printing and we'll begin printing. At that point, we'll update you about the next steps and where things are moving!

THE BREVARIUM

We're putting the final touches on the Brevarium (we found a few edits to clean up in the layout and text as we were finishing it) and the PDF should be shortly. 

PRINTING TIMELINE

Once the Brevarium is out, we'll be preparing the books to go to the printers. We're looking at two printers (one in the US) and one overseas. We've put in revised quotes to them so we can sign the paperwork and get the printing templates. 

Our goal is to have the quotes finalized this week. Once that's done and we've locked down the printer, we'll have the books laid out to the offset print run template (for both the Brevarium and the core rulebook.) That will take two weeks. Once that's done, the printer will send proofs to us and we'll approve them! 

Depending on the printer it will take a variable amount of time to print the books and ship them to the fulfillment house. If it's overseas, it's likely to be 12 to 16 weeks. If it's in the US, it will likely be closer to 8 weeks before they land at fulfillment (the holidays might delay us a bit.)

Once that happens, everything will be done, and we will began fulfillment. The dice are already there, and the GM screen goes to print at the same time. 

In summary: If we print in the US, we're looking at fulfillment in late January or early February. If we print overseas, it's more likely to be late March/early April. 

Once we've chosen a printer, we'll provide an update regarding that and inform you which timeline is locked down.

Hi folks!

The Brevarium is almost completed. We've been fine-tuning the contents and making sure necessary items are included (paring down such a massive book is a difficult process!) Expect that PDF soon, as the last changes to be made were sent in today. 

POD Codes

We know you've been waiting a long time for your book, and while we wish we could deliver it immediately, we're still awaiting printing and fulfillment. To that end, we'd like to offer Backers an at-cost POD code for Aquelarre (the corebook). 

This code will not replace your reward, and you have no obligation to buy it. You will still get everything you pledged for. This is just something we can do to provide you with a copy of the physical book you use while you wait for the print-run to finish and come to you. 

On Monday, the code will be sent out in BackerKit. That gives this update time to filter out to pre-order backers so everyone is aware of what's happening. The code will be as close to at-cost as we can make it, in order to minimize the charge to you (it's a very big book.) 

We're doing our best to get this wrapped up, but this is a way for us to ensure you get something sooner rather than more waiting.

I apologize for the quality of the images (cell phone pictures), but DTRPG proofs of Aquelarre have arrived! 

Now, these aren't the final proofs, as we're still planning the off-set print run, and we'll have some more news shortly. 

But we are moving forward, and we wanted to show you images on that!
