Steve Wieck here, Stewart's brother. 

I know that Alan is still working with a few of you on problem shipments and re-shipments, but apart from that we can finally call this KickStarter completed.

Per someone's comment, I wish we could send you all an "I survived the Aquelarre KickStarter" t-shirt. I know Alan and I would want one too!

My brother was wonderfully creative and productive. When he suddenly passed, he had 18 different KickStarters with products due to backers - several of the projects being quite complex such as Aquelarre with many different kinds of components to be produced and shipping to backers around the world. For the last two and half years, Alan Bahr, Stewart's widow Jennifer, and I have been working to satisfy those KickStarter obligations. I know everything did not happen as we all would have liked it, but I am gratified to hear the comments that you are enjoying the quality of the product that is finally in your hands. It's poignantly important to me that we honored Stewart's memory by getting these games to you.

I want to say a special thanks to Alan who has been the front man here for communication to you. That was not an easy or fun job when the news was often no news or bad news as this project faced setback after setback. Almost all of you showed monumental patience and compassion during this but it was perfectly natural and understandable that you may at times have felt a bit impatient and frustrated. I hope that you will not blame the messenger, Alan, for that. I can only commend how hard and persistently he has worked on all of Nocturnal's projects. I hope you will consider supporting Alan's efforts under his own Gallant Knight Games banner. He'd producing great things.

With the KickStarter completed, we have have just now launched Aquelarre for public sale on DriveThruRPG. Copies will also be in game retail stores this April/May.

One final surprise for you is that today we also released the first Aquelarre English supplement that was not part of the KickStarter. You can check out Asturies Medievalia on DriveThru now.

Shipping Nearly Done! + Refreshing PDF links!

Hey folks!

For those who celebrated Thanksgiving this weekend, we hope you had a wonderful Holiday! For everyone else, we hope you had a wonderful weekend full of fun, friends and family!

Shipping is nearly done. We've got some corrections to send out, as well as a few backlogged packages, but for the most part, all the EU/Worldwide packages are out! 

The shipper should be giving me a final wrap-up and we'll go from there. I expect that soon.

Some of you have posted about needing PDF links resent and refreshed. To get new PDF links, please email [email protected] and use the phrase "Aquelarre PDF" in your subject line (minus the quotations.) This will filter to the appropriate email so I can quickly get this sorted for you. Please note what PDFs you need, and your DriveThruRPG email so I can make sure they are sent to your DTRPG Library!

EU/Rest of World Shipping

Hey everyone!

Thanks for your patience!

The EU/Rest of World packages are shipping now from the UK. They actually started last week, but they're in full swing this week. We won't have tracking until they're all out and the fulfillment team passes the bulk file over to us! As soon as we have that, we'll upload it to backerkit and emails will go out with tracking.

UK Package has Arrived!

Hi folks!

The replacement package for the UK has made it through customs and the warehouse has it. Packages will start going out next week for everyone whose been waiting! Thank you very much for your patience.

We are unable to combine shipping with other projects (files have already been submitted and are in progress), but we are endeavoring to have everything wrapped up ASAP.

After all the packages are out, we will post an update detailing the process for anyone whose had a damaged package, or missing product.

Just to reiterate: the art cards and the Aquelarre Deck100 are coming separately in other packages!

Shipping Update

Package Enroute to UK

We've received word that the package containing the replacement items mentioned below has left for the UK via Air Freight. This should take roughly a week before it arrives (if there's any customs work it can extend that time.)

We'll update you as soon as we hear it's been received.

The Previous Update

We hope everyone had a good Tuesday. Sorry for the delay in the update (both the lateness today, and in general.) The Nocturnal team was working to get answers sorted so we could try to answer everything. This update has several parts.

First, US/Canada Fulfillment:
               Fulfillment is underway and ongoing. Our shipper has informed us that they are behind, but they are working through packages (other clients of theirs had and have also submitted fulfillment to them, causing a work overload.) Packages are going out though, and no issues have been reported other than slowness of dispatch. If you've reeived a confirmation email but no shipping update, it simply means your order has been prepared but has not left the warehouse yet.

               We've asked them to provide us with regular updates regarding fulfillment and the product going out. As we get those updates we will communicate them.

EU/Rest of the World Fulfillment

Obviously the EU/World packages have not gone out. We submitted the files. Our shipper came back informing us that inventory counts did not match the required amounts. As we worked to find out why, we discovered that some of the shipment we had sent over there never been marked as received and was simply not in the warehouse. The product is marked as having left it's departure, so the issue appears to have occurred during transit. Here are the steps we've taken and are currently taking:

We're very sorry for the frustration, and we're actively working to resolve this as swiftly as possible. We want to put this project in your hands as much as you want to receive it!First, we identified exactly where we were short on inventory. The biggest issue is that we were short a significant amount of core Aquelarre books. We then immediately submitted to have product shipped via Air Freight from our US fulfillment site to our UK team.
               Our UK fulfillment site is doing (and has partially completed) a warehouse wide review of all our SKUs and products, in an attempt to see if that product is located on site. If not, the air-shipment will provide all the product we need. If it is found (some of it has been already, though not a significant enough amount to aid in total fulfillment), we will immediately be able to begin.
               Our UK fulfillment site is providing daily updates to us regarding their review of product inventory.
               Our freight shipper who sent the packages over is searching their locations for the product. If located in the UK, obviously resolution is quicker and easier than if it is located in the US.

The next update:

We understand the frustration that the fulfillment issues have caused. We want to commit to specific updates for backers, and so, you will receive updates at the following intervals:

• When the Air Freight shipment leaves the US.
• When it arrives in the UK.
• When our fulfillment house has confirmed it's intake.
• When non-US/CA fulfillment has started in full.

Regarding the Bookmark

The omission of the bookmark was an error on the part of the Nocturnal team. In our focus on completing Aquelarre (a project with significant complexity), the simple fact is that the book mark was missed in error during the production of the books.
